Okay, let's get this straight. William Beckett is so not a rainy day person. Sunny days? Perfect. Cloudy days? Kind of romantic. Rainy days? Fuck no. They make him grouchy and grumpy and pissy and bitchy and rawr. So then why is he currently standing in the front of the school, his light brown locks sticking to the sides of his face as rain pours unforgivingly over him? Well, because Gabe said he'd meet him there. And when William protested, Gabe totally cheated and said "Please? I just. I have something I want to do with you."

Yeah. He totally cheated. Cause he so knows how much power he has over William, and how he'll do anything for him. Which is how he got himself into this very wet situation. But, see. School got out half an hour ago. And for half an hour, William's been standing in the very wet, very cold rain. He's pretty sure he's lost all use of the left side of his face.

"Fuck it." he mumbles angrily, crossing his arms over his frail chest. Cause, really. Just fuck it. He knew he was gonna get stood up; he just knew it. He knew it was too good to be true, that a guy he liked finally liked him back. Cause it always turns out this way.

So now he's depressed and angry and even more depressed and bleh. He lifts a skinny arm and wipes it across his face, swiping away the tears that are now rolling down his thin cheekbones. But, not like it matters. It's raining, so noone can really tell.

William turns on his heel and makes his way across the campus towards his house, not caring about the rain anymore.

--

Now, William can be one stubborn motherfucker when he wants to be. Cause he's really good at holding grudges. And lifting his leg over his head, but that's not really important at the moment. So whenever he feels his cellphone vibrating and sees Gabe's name sprawled across the small screen, he just glares at it scornfully and returns to sobbing in his pillow.

Which is another thing about William; he can be extremely sensitive. But honestly, it's not his fault. That's just how he is. And that's exactly why most of the school's population refer to him as "pansy" or some other name that has to do with his slightly feminine appearance. Which honestly, isn't his fault either. Honestly.

So William's weekend is filled with bloodshot eyes, tear-stained pillows, and a constantly vibrating cellphone.

Until Sunday night, that is.

--

It's exactly 6:27. William knows this, cause he's been staring at his bedside alarm clock for the past hour and a half, after being forced to eat by his overly-worried mother. And it's exactly 6:28 when he feels his cellphone vibrate for the thousandth time that night.

He lets an exasperated sigh escape his lips as he lazily looks over at it, already knowing who it is. Of course, it's Gabe. Who else would it be? But none the less, he lets his arm reach over to the edge of his bed and pick up the small phone, holding it in a shaking hand. He figures, Gabe's not worth all the tears and sobs he's caused him over the past two days. And that's exactly what he plans on telling him.

But when he flips open the cellphone and puts it against his ear, all he has time to do is open his mouth angrily before closing it shut again, cause Gabe's already talking. Very rapidly, as a matter of fact.

"Look, dude. I'm - I'm sorry I like, ditched you on Friday. But I had good reasons, and. I felt totally bad, and you've been ignoring all my phone calls, which only made me feel more bad, and that's wierd. Cause I never feel bad, and like. I don't know. I'm really really sorry. If you totally hate me, then I understand. But I really hope you don't, cause that'd totally break my heart and stuff."

Williams swallows, really hard. He has a lump rising in his throat and he desperately wishes that it doesn't suffocate him.

"Um." he mutters, not knowing what else to say. Cause seriously. As soon as Gabe started talking, all of William's anger just seemed to ebb away. Which kind of makes him angry all over again, cause he doesn't not want to be angry.

"Look, just. Just come outside for a sec, okay?" Gabe says feverishly. William furrows his eyebrows but nods anways, and then realizes that he's talking on a cellphone, and Gabe can't see him.

"Um. Yeah."

So William pushes himself up from his bed, pads down the staircase, and walks to the front door. But he doesn't want to open it. First of all, cause it's probably still cold and raining outside. And as clearly stated before, William and rain just don't mix. Second of all, Gabe told him to to meet him outside. Which must mean that Gabe's probably standing out there waiting for him.

But then again, that just starts the list on why he should open the door. Cause Gabe's standing in the rain for him, and that pretty much gives William the most awesome feeling ever. And before he knows it, his long fingers are wrapped around the doorknob and he's pulling it open.

And okay. He's pretty much turned on. What with Gabe's wet clothes sticking to his body and his hair all dripping.Yeah, that's definitely hot. So he looks away, cause his pants are already naturally tight and if they were to get any tighter, well. That would just be uncomfortable.

"I'm sorry I ditched you. I didn't blow you off, seriously." he hears Gabe mutter, and he feels a pair of soaked purple-sleeved arms wrap themselves around his waist. He yelps as he's pulled out from the safety of his warm house and shoved across his front lawn out into the street.

William stares at him angrily ,already shaking from the cold night air. The wind's blowing, which doesn't really help cause it just makes the raindrops hit his face harder. "Gabe, what the f-"

But he doesn't have time to finish, because his lips are quickly covered by the boy's in front of him, soft and gentle. William makes a kind of squeeking noise in the back of his throat, and that only makes Gabe giggle. Cause really, it was cute.

"This is why I was so upset that I couldn't meet you after school. This is what I wanted to do with you." Gabe whispers against William's mouth, dropping a hand from William's hip and intertwining their fingers, even though they're so cold that he's pretty positive that his fingers are gonna be permanently numb.

William doesn't respond, just parts his lips and lets his and Gabe's tongue lightly brush against eachother. And he silently corrects himself, cause this pretty much gives William the most awesome feeling ever.
